The Curtain Driver works with virtually all curtain systems and is perfect for opening or closing both lightweight and heavy curtains. This product actually pulls the curtain along the rail, unlike the Roller Shade Driver E1, which operates the cord of a roller blind. The Curtain Driver E1 is suitable for several types of curtain rods, including U-shaped and I-shaped rails. Simply order the Track or the Rod Version for these. For curtains that run over a rod, only the Rod Version is suitable. For more information and the conditions, see the last photos.
So order your Curtain Driver E1 right away and attach it easily and quickly to your curtain rod or rail using the hook on the top. Hide it behind the curtain so it disappears from sight. Then connect the little device to your own smart control system and you're ready to go.
Curtains open and closed whenever you want
To make sure you can enjoy as much convenience and living comfort as possible, the Aqara Curtain Driver E1 can be used via Zigbee 3.0 with nearly all smart home systems. Think of Amazon Alexa and Apple HomeKit, but of course also the Google Assistant, IFTTT, Aqara Home and Matter (in due course).
Next, you can choose from various control options. For example, opt for automatic opening and closing at set times, or have your curtains open or close as soon as the sun starts to shine. This is possible thanks to the built-in light sensor, which measures exactly how much light comes in.
So you can have the Curtain Driver E1 do exactly what you want, whenever you want. This helps you bring in more warmth and light on cool days and, on hot summer days, keeps the heat and bright sunrays outside. You can also control the Curtain Driver E1 manually with your phone, your voice (Siri, Alexa or Google Assistant) or at the touch of a button with an Aqara Switch, Cube or Mini Switch, for example.
Perfect for virtually all curtains
The Aqara Curtain Driver E1 is designed for use with curtains weighing up to 12 kilograms. But chances are you don't have those incredibly heavy mega-curtains hanging in your home. So we're sure this handy smart little device is perfect for your interior too! The Aqara Curtain Driver E1 runs on an internal battery that lasts a whole year. Charging is easy via the included USB-C cable.
You can choose between one or two Curtain Drivers E1 per curtain. With two Curtain Drivers you can combine them to open the curtains from both sides at once. The speed at which the device opens or closes the curtains is adjustable. For example, have the curtains open slowly in the morning so you can wake up gently!
