Looking for the trash can of the future? The Xiaomi Townew T Air One Smart Trash Can is the world's first automatic trash can that seals and replaces the bag all by itself. The built-in sensor on top lets the trash can open and close on its own. Need more time? Just press the stay-open button and the lid stays up. Perfect for when you need to add more trash or you're simply busy a little longer. The trash can holds 10 litres and comes in natural white. Charging is done via a Type-C charger and takes 5 hours, giving you 20 days of use.
Infrared Motion Sensor
When the built-in infrared sensor detects movement within a range of 35 centimetres above the trash can, it automatically opens the lid. You can do this with your hand, or even with your knee if that's easier. That way you never have to touch the dirty surface of the lid or get near any nasty smells.
Self-Sealing and Replaceable Mechanism
As soon as the trash can detects a bag is full, you press the button and the built-in system seals the bag automatically. That way you can grab the bag without coming into contact with the (dirty) contents!
When you remove the bag, the trash can automatically replaces it with a new one. So the trash can and your hands stay clean throughout the entire process. Is the bag too full to close? Then the lid automatically lifts up to make more room in the bag. The bag gets a little bigger and there's more space for the extra waste. After that, the sealing process is completed anyway.
