The Xiaomi TOKIT Pressure Cooker is made from sturdy material and features a 1.2mm thick steel plate. This smart pressure cooker has a generous 5-litre capacity — enough for 8 bowls of rice or 1 kilo of beef! The inner pot has a non-stick coating that always delivers the result you want. You can easily lift the pot out to clean it, and it's dishwasher-safe too.
How a pressure cooker works
A pressure cooker is fitted with a special lid that seals the pan completely. This increases the pressure inside during cooking, which means food cooks faster and uses less energy. In other words: with a pressure cooker, you prepare dishes in just 2/3 of the time it takes with a regular pan.
The enormous 70,000 Pa pressure of the smart TOKIT Pressure Cooker gets rice ready in just 21 minutes, and stewing beef takes only 50 minutes! With the keep-warm function, the cooker keeps your food warm for hours after cooking. You can also use the TOKIT Pressure Cooker with the lid open — that way it even works as a small hot pot!
