Thanks to features like HDR, Super Night Vision, ADAS driver assistance systems and 24-hour parking mode, this isn't just a camera, but a digital co-pilot that's always paying attention.
Real 4K quality, day and night
The A800SE films in True 4K resolution, 3840x2160p, at 30 frames per second, with no upscaling or tricks. HDR corrects extreme differences in light and keeps dark and bright zones in balance. With the large F1.55 lens and the 6-layer optical structure, image noise stays limited and the picture stays sharp, even in tunnels or against backlight. The Super Night Vision algorithms pull more detail out of evening footage and make even dark country roads crystal clear.
Full coverage front and rear
Combined with the optional RC22 rear camera, the A800SE captures events around the car in 4K and 1080p, both at 30 FPS. That way you don't just see what's happening in front of you, but also behind you, ideal when parking, driving in traffic jams or with vehicles approaching from behind. All footage is continuously saved in a loop, and the dashcam stores important footage such as incidents and parking videos in a separate folder, so they won't be overwritten by the regular loop recordings.
Smart monitoring on the road and when parked
The dashcam uses buffered emergency recording and saves that footage, so in the event of a collision you have three minutes of footage from before and after the incident. While parked, the camera stays active thanks to G-sensor detection and time-lapse recording, as long as it's connected to the 70mai Hardwire Kit UP03 or 70mai OBD-II Hardwire Kit. The camera responds to any movement or impact and alerts you as soon as you get back in.
Driving with more insight
The built-in GPS supports four satellite systems: GPS, Galileo, GLONASS and QZSS, and records routes, speed and position. Combined with the 70mai app, you can view footage, adjust settings or transfer data via wifi or USB. The camera also has an extensive ADAS system that warns you if you drift out of your lane, for cars in front of you that are stopped or pulling away, and even recognizes pedestrians and cyclists. That way the A800SE helps you stay alert, but without being a nag.
Made for real conditions
Instead of a battery, the A800SE uses a supercapacitor. It's better able to withstand really harsh freezing cold down to -40 °C and scorching heat up to 85 °C, charges faster and lasts much longer. Even in the event of sudden power loss, footage is saved safely. With support for microSD cards up to 512 GB you always have plenty of storage space, and thanks to the 3-inch display you can view footage right in the car.
