Front and rear recording
The Xiaomi 70mai A410 films at the front in True 2.5K resolution and can be expanded with a rear camera that records in Full HD. This combination ensures that everything happening in front of and behind your car is clearly captured. License plates, road signs and movements stay clearly visible, both during the day and in low light. The camera uses loop recording, so older footage is automatically overwritten as long as no incident is detected.
Image quality in low light
For situations in the dark, the A410 uses a lens and image processing tuned for night recording. This keeps details more visible under street lighting, from oncoming traffic or on poorly lit roads. HDR processing helps balance large differences between light and dark, for example in tunnels or in strong backlight. This results in smooth, usable footage in changing conditions.
Incidents captured
When the built-in G-sensor detects a collision or hard impact, the Xiaomi 70mai A410 automatically saves important footage. Thanks to buffered emergency recording, it captures not only the moments after an incident, but also what led up to it. Depending on the set loop, this can add up to several minutes before the impact. These recordings are stored separately and not overwritten, which helps when reviewing or sharing evidence.
Parking monitoring
Even when the car is parked, the camera can stay active with the optional Hardwire Kit UP03. In the event of a bump or vibration, it automatically starts a short recording to capture what happened. There is also a timelapse feature available that captures long parking sessions in a compact video file. This does require a separate hardwire kit so the camera receives power when the ignition is off.
GPS and controls
The Xiaomi 70mai A410 comes with built-in GPS to record routes, speed and location. You can view this data later in the app, and it can provide extra context for a recording. You control the camera via a small screen on the device itself or via the app on your phone. Footage can be viewed wirelessly or copied directly to a computer via USB, without having to remove the memory card.
Compact design
The design of the A410 stays compact, so it doesn't block your view while driving. The buttons are easy to operate and the installation is clearly laid out. The camera supports microSD cards up to 256 GB, giving you plenty of storage for several days of footage, depending on your settings and use.
